"I was just trying to lower my current insurance payments and filled out some random form online. Eddie called me pretty quickly, and honestly, at first I was a bit annoyed — wasn’t really planning to switch or talk to anyone. He quoted me a price that was actually higher than what I was paying, so I almost ended the call. But he didn’t give up, we kept talking, negotiated a bit, and he came back with an amazing rate — literally almost half of what I was paying before. On top of that, he helped me add a very solid life insurance policy that actually makes sense for my situation, and the whole process was super smooth and fast. Eddie is a really nice, straightforward guy, explains everything clearly, doesn’t push unnecessary stuff. Feels great to see young professionals like him out there actually making insurance better and more affordable for people. Highly recommend working with him!"

"⸻ Unfortunately, my experience with State Farm during the policy cancellation and refund process was very poor, disappointing, and unacceptable. I canceled my insurance policy on January 19, 2026. At that time, a total amount of $456.88 was fully withdrawn from my bank account. However, I was later informed that only $280.15 would be refunded, without any clear, documented, or reasonable explanation for this significant difference. It is extremely difficult for me to understand how a company with the reputation and history of State Farm can fail to provide a clear and transparent explanation for a financial discrepancy of this nature. When the full amount is deducted from a customer’s account, the reasonable expectation is that the same amount will be refunded, or at the very least, that a detailed and legally justified breakdown of any deductions be clearly communicated. This situation resulted in wasted time, unnecessary stress, and a serious loss of trust. I was forced to follow up multiple times just to obtain a clear response, when this process should have been handled in a simple, transparent, and professional manner from the beginning. This level of service does not meet the standards one would expect from a company like State Farm. Based on this experience, I cannot be satisfied with State Farm’s service and hope the company will seriously review and improve its policy cancellation and refund procedures to better respect and protect its customers"

Regardless, feel free to email us at eddie@eddiewanginsurance.com or call us at 425-278-5153 if you need help finding your agent to be able to address any issues. 2) For anyone reading this post, State Farm refunds can be backdated up to 30 days maximum. Occasionally, customers forget about policies that no longer need to be active (e.g. a sold car) and request cancellation and full refund beyond the 30 day duration. Please be reasonably timely with any cancellation & refund requests. 3) If any customers of our agency have similar concerns in the future, know that we will do our absolute best to explain the situation in a timely manner and provide any permissible remedies as best we can. "
